Designed for individuals who currently work in law enforcement or possess previous POST training or certification. One-on-one advising is available in-person, by telephone or over the Internet to answer questions, walk a candidate personally through the entire hiring process, including equivalency evaluation, supplementary academy training and probation; or assist in developing career plans in law enforcement.

• Practice mock interviews, receive feedback and view yourself on video tape

• Review low cost, non-traditional, accredited options in higher education

• Learn how to excel in academy training (if it must be repeated)

• Avoid the common mistakes that can get you fired before you finish the probationary period.

• Why you should apply to multiple agencies to insure landing a good job

• What you need to apply for job openings in and out of state (POST requirements)

• Receive an honest appraisal of your Personal History Statement to uncover inconsistencies, discrepancies or disqualifiers, and how to handle the background interview

• Develop a personal physical training plan, get in shape, and/or learn self-defense

• Learn the common pitfalls and mistakes and how to avoid them

• Receive relocation information, assistance and local support, including advice on jobs for your spouse and schooling for your children.
